Newsweek's Oscar Roundtable

As is their now-yearly routine, Newsweek has gathered a handful of this year's Oscar nominated actors for a comfortable, off-the-cuff round table discussion, in which they discuss everything from their favorite performances to their inspirations to, um, boners (gotta love Rourke). Sadly these were taped before the actual nominations, so now Newsweek have added insult to injury for the ridiculously snubbed Happy-Go-Lucky star Sally Hawkins. (thanks to Awardsdaily for the tip-off)

Commenting anonymously here, so I don't get blasted, but I'm just curious if there's anyone else out there who found Langhella to be kind of pompous and self-centered throughout these roundtable sessions. No?

I don't think your off in your assessment at all really. I wouldn't say pompous per-se, but he is certainly gearing a lot of the questions toward himself. And to be honest (and this is meant as no offense to Langella or his strong work), but he really is the least interesting actor here.

Mr. Anonymity completely agrees with you, on all counts.
